× The UW Field House played host to the 47th Annual MadFest Juggling Festival last weekend, the one-time basketball pen filling up with gravity's tricksters. On Saturday, Jan. 13, the festival featured the Wisconsin State Yo-Yo Contest, featuring compulsory trick lists and freestyle competition. A video clip featuring the 4th place performance follows below. More videos of these yo-yo impresarios at work last Saturday can be viewed here and here. Also available online are photos from the competition and the full results. The winner of the Wisconsin contest moves up to the Midwest regionals, scheduled for June 18 in Minneapolis. Madfest was put on by the Madison Area Jugglers, which invites folks interested in "juggling, unicycling, or other related object manipulation, balance, or performance skills." If you wish to let us know about more videos by, of, and about Madison and Madisonians, please consider adding them to the Isthmus YouTube group or send a message.
