Death at a Funeral: Chris Rock, Martin Lawrence and Tracy Morgan star in this comedy about a funeral gone cataclysmically wrong. It's a slight but agreeable picture with strong performances.
The Joneses: A seemingly regular suburban family is really a stealth marketing team, employed to lure neighbors into purchasing products. Demi Moore and David Duchovny are well cast, and at first the premise works beautifully, but after the cultural critique falls by the wayside the film never recovers.
