State Street and the Capitol Square are the only places where the new season of road construction is getting underway in Madison; so too are new projects throughout the area. The city provides ongoing Traffic Alerts to inform residents and commuters about major projects, with a couple already underway at Mineral Point and Gammon roads (here) and along a mid-section of East Washington Avenue (here). This photo shows a much smaller project underway along Park Street on the south side. There's no doubt about it, summer is definitely around the corner.
