Tenney Park Bridge
Today's image is titled Tenney Park Bridge and was photographed by Jane Pearson.
Though open skating at Vilas and Tenney parks kicked-off their winter season on Friday, they were closed again by Monday due to warm temperatures and thinning ice. With warm conditions forecast at least through the end of the week, the ice will only get thinner on the Tenney Park lagoon, which is a very picturesque setting for wintertime skating. More information about the near east side park, once the home of a sawmill, gristmill and brewery, is available from the Madison Parks Division and the Madison Parks Foundation.
