State Street at Night
Today's image is titled State Street at Night and was photographed by Maciej Smuga.
Smuga describes the photo as "a classic Madison shot, made better by image stabilization on a wide angle lens." Indeed, the image depicts a late autumn view of State Street, complete with the new energy saving LED holiday lighting, and with the state Capitol building as the backdrop. Another prominent landmark is the sign for State Street Brats, visible on the right side of the photo at the intersections of State and Frances streets.
