Thom Jones
piering down
Today's image is titled piering down and was photographed by Thom Jones.
This photo was along the shores of the Yahara River, where it flows between Lake Monona and Upper Mud Lake and is crossed by West Broadway. While these shores and docks are teeming with boats and people during the warmer months of the year, they sit forlorn and cold in the dead of winter, the nearest escape being the Bourbon Street Grille on the west side of the river.
