The Ditty Bops
Today's image is titled The Ditty Bops and was photographed by Angela Richardson.
The Los Angeles-based folk-pop duo The Ditty Bops -- Abby DeWald and Amanda Barrett -- played in Madison on Friday, March 10, at the Barrymore Theatre, with opener Jesca Hoop. "It was a good time," writes Richardson, who shot a 21-photo gallery of the concert and noted "Amanda and Abby were as charming as ever!"
Several other concert-goers also commented favorably about the show. "Whatever it is, the music is infectiously grin-inducing," wrote Emily Mills. "It's hard to stay in your seat for a whole show." Another attendee noted the group's plasticity through the concert, while a third simply stated that it was "very fun."
Both the theme and the fun woven throughout the show were reported by one concert-goer: 'The Ditty Bops ran through their set of quirky, amusing songs. Most of them I'd only heard once or twice before, but I loved every one. They have this remarkable presence on stage that makes everyone happy.'
