Ripples
Today's image is titled Ripples and was photographed by Liz Ahlberg.
As spring begins to unfold, the Bolz Conservatory at Olbrich Botanical Gardens will no longer be one of the few places in town where can rest amid a sea of foliage. Over the cold winter months, though, the glass-enclosed pyramid at the northern tip of Lake Monona serves as a verdant refuge for those longing for warmer times or climes. This photo shows some of the permanent residents of the conservatory, koi. Ahlberg has taken several other photos at Olbrich, focusing primarily on the blossoms found at their spring flower show, which ended last weekend.
