Today's image is titled "Opening Day" and was photographed by Kristian Knutsen.
This week marks the opening of the 2008 baseball season, with the Milwaukee Brewers opening play on Monday at Wrigley Field versus the Chicago Cub. Though this past weekend wasn't too particularly spring-like, more than a few people took advantage of the bare turf around town to toss Frisbees, baseballs, and other projectiles around. This photo shows two men playing catch next to the Capitol, amidst the remaining trees on the interior of the Square and with the skyline of Main Street looming in the background.
