This photo shows the Middle Eastern dance troupe Banaat al Jazira performing in the rooftop gardens of Monona Terrace last Saturday afternoon. The occasion was So You Think You Can Dance Madison, a contest celebrating Fox television program of the same name, that featured special performances by local dance groups. The show was put on as part of the grand opening celebration of Dance Fabulous, a relatively new downtown drop-in style studio located next to the Overture Center that features over a dozen classes and is open to dancers of all skill levels.
