on highway 19
Today's image is titled on highway 19 and was photographed by JonAnne Hobbs.
Ever been stared down by a giant chicken? This photo shows a classic Midwest roadside attraction, a giant fiberglass chicken standing sentinel over the passing traffic. This particular specimen is located on Highway 19 in northeastern Dane County heading westbound towards Madison. Similar creatures of this type -- a cow, a mouse, an elephant -- along with other roadside oddities around the county are catalogued in Wisconsinosity!
