Click HERE to vote in the ASM elections. In addition to selecting a bunch of people you don't know to a bunch of positions you've never heard of, you will get the chance to vote on referenda that will determine the name of the new Union South and whether segregated fees will be raised to fund a renovation of the Natatorium.
I don't have particularly strong opinions about any of the ASM folks. The people in charge now are generally dorky enough and well-meaning enough to do a good job. Hopefully the Nat Up referendum will fail. The Union names were so weak. Varsity Union; Randall Union? I voted to maintain the status quo. When there's no good alternative, you might as well go with tradition.
The best slogan definitely goes to Student Council candidate Natalie North: "Step one: reaching out. Step two: putting out." I would assume that a college student understands the implications of such a slogan, but you never know with these ASMers. The rest of Natalie's statement is as earnest as Beaver Cleavers bedtime prayers.
