This city was by no means left out of the fun and madness of this week's insta-phenomenon known as the Playstation 3 line. With the insanely-hyped next-generation more-than-just-a-gaming system officially open for sale at midnight on Friday, Nov. 17, lines have been forming in front of big-box electronics retailers across the country.
Madison is no exception. One observer drove past the west side Best Buy around 10:30 p.m. on Wednesday night, shooting video of a line of tents, sleeping bags and camp chairs that had already stretched more than a couple dozen places around the building's corner.
If you're not in line now, there's almost no chance you'll be picking up a PS3 this weekend. The brief drive-by video follows below.
