Insanity is the premise of Night Watch, a short film written and directed by Justin Sprecher. This is not the loud, brash brand of insanity that occupies the cultural cliché of madness; rather, it's the slow, creeping kind the leads one to lose trust in everything, most of all oneself.
The three-minute suspicion-laden short film follows below, just in time for Halloween.
Staring Justin Mohar as the security guard, Night Watch was originally screened at the Wis-Kino Spring Kabaret on Apr. 22, 2005. Sprecher was a primary organizers with Wis-Kino, and has participated in Kabarets in Montreal, Hamburg and Adelaide. He recently moved to Australia, where he will continue working with Kino Adelaide.
