This 7-song recording is Ambulance LTD's follow-up to their well-received 2004 debut, LP, and buys them time with fans until their second album is released later this year. It includes three new singles, two demos of songs from LP and a cover of Pink Floyd's "Fearless." Consistent with their previous work, New English succeeds by building on dreamy emotions. The fuzzy riff in the demo version of "Sugar Pill" is like a lonely night walk in a strange big city after you've had a few drinks.
