Local and regional acts including Meghan Rose, Dead Horses and Skylar Stecker — and Madison’s beloved Atwoodfest — were the focus of the top music articles for the year. But a story about the guy who sings those catchy American Family Insurance jingles grabbed the number one spot. Perhaps Meghan Rose’s band Damsel Trash could loan “More Drunk, Less Pregnant” to State Farm and take back the throne for 2016. Just a thought.
