The Gomers want you to help them make the video for their latest hit single. "I Been Over Dere" turns the Johnny Cash hit "I Been Everywhere" into a Dairy State tribute that mentions 113 Wisconsin towns (Clam Lake and Pewaukee among them). The Gomers want cheesy and memorable photos you may have of these towns. You can hear the song at myspace.com/thegomers. Send your photos to biff@beeftone.com.
Four Madison bands have been nominated for Wisconsin Area Music Industry awards. The Moon Gypsies, Ladies Must Swing, Mighty Short Bus and the Figureheads will be among the musicians recognized at the event, scheduled for April 28 at the Turner Hall Ballroom in Milwaukee.
