True Endeavors' annual FRZN Fest returns to the High Noon Saloon this January with a roster designed to send shivers down the spines of local music fans.
The four-day event, which kicks off on Jan. 16, wraps up on Jan. 19 with a performance by North Carolina indie-rock trailblazers Superchunk. They'll show off their new album, I Hate Music, which Mojo aptly dubbed a "euphoric, unrepentant denial of its own title."
Other bands will visit from Minneapolis, Nashville, New York City and beyond. The list includes explosive punks Diarrhea Planet, soulful crooner Caroline Smith, singer-songwriters Bad Bad Hats, neo-shoegaze band Weekend, and chamber-pop act San Fermin, with more artists to be announced.
