Wild Hog in the Woods averts disaster

Wild Hog in the Woods recently survived a close call that threatened to shut down operations, including the group's Friday-night coffeehouse concert series at the Wil-Mar Center, which has helped to keep the local folk scene alive for more than 30 years: The volunteer roster was dwindling. But the group mobilized quickly to find some new faces to help run the sound system and the concessions booth, says volunteer coordinator Kim Genich. Volunteers are still needed, however.
