“Reproduction and Research: Ethics and Pregnancy in Clinical Trials”

An afternoon of education, discussion, and debate with national and local experts. The Symposium will feature a “Mock IRB” simulation in which expert panelists pull back the curtain on how Institutional Review Boards evaluate potentially controversial research protocols involving pregnant participants.
This event is presented by the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health and the Department of Medical History and Bioethics.
FREE and open to students, faculty, health care providers, and the community. Seating is general admission.
