media release: Beginning Saturday, April 11, 2026, and running each Saturday through November 14, 2026, the Dane County Farmers’ Market (DCFM) will host its weekly Saturday Market on the Square from 6:15 a.m. to 1:45 p.m. On July 11 only, during Art Fair on the Square, the DCFM will be held at Breese Stevens Field from 7:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.

The DCFM Wednesday Market on the 200 Block of Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd. will begin Wednesday April 22, 2026, and continue through November 4, 2026, from 8:30 a.m. to 1:15 p.m.

At every market, you’ll always find hundreds of local, Wisconsin-produced agricultural products. With over 200 vendors, the DCFM is known as the largest producer-only farmers’ market in the nation. On Saturdays, you’ll find anywhere from 100-150 vendors, and on Wednesdays, you’ll find up to 30 vendors.

From freshly picked asparagus and radishes to aged cheddar and cured meat, you can make amazing meals with the thoughtfully grown and crafted products from the DCFM. Visit us any Saturday or Wednesday this growing season, rain or shine, to experience some Wisconsin goodness.

We are lucky to have an incredible number of parking options around the Square, and we also recommend walking, biking or taking the bus downtown. Please note that the State Street corner of the Capitol Square – West Mifflin Street and North Carroll Street – will be closed to vehicle traffic each Saturday beginning at 8 a.m. until 3 p.m. Customers who use vehicles to pick up large orders from that corner of the Square can do so before 8 a.m., or arrange an alternative pick up site with the farmer.

SNAP/EBT services are provided every market at the Information Booth. From June 1 to October 31, 2026 SNAP/EBT customers will also be able to participate in the Double Dollars nutrition incentive program. During this time period, customers using SNAP/EBT can receive up to $20 matched dollars every market to spend on fresh fruits and vegetables with Wisconsin farmers.

Thank you to our 2026 SNAP/EBT Sponsors! Ancora Cafe + Bakery, Group Health Cooperative, and Willy Street Coop. These organizations have contributed to help keep SNAP/EBT operations running smoothly at the market and support our effort in expanding access to locally-grown food.

Thank you to our 2026 Food Scraps Sponsor! Green Box Compost. They provided free food scrap drop-offs throughout the winter and will continue to offer this during our Wednesday Market this outdoors season.

Can’t make it to the market or you want to take a piece of the market home? The DCFM is offering official merchandise this year! T-shirts, sweatshirts, and hats can be purchased online in a variety of colors. Tote bags can be purchased online or in-person at our Wednesday Market. Gift certificates can also be purchased on our website or in-person at our Wednesday Market.

To stay up to date throughout the season, visit dcfm.org, sign up for our weekly e-newsletter and follow us on Facebook and Instagram @DaneCoFM.
