Willy Street Co-op is celebrating earth week with a one-of-a-kind celebration. For several months co-op staffers have been planning festivities for the 45th annual Earth Day, Wed. April, 22. Those plans include movie screenings, barbecues, mobile bike repair shops, and classes on shopping smart by buying bulk.
What better way to celebrate earth week than with a bike ride? In partnership with Dream Bikes and Nature's Bakery, Willy Street Co-op East will host a free bike tune-up for commuters and riders from 9am to 12pm Tuesday, April, 21. The same event is Thursday at Willy West from 9am to 12pm.
