Oakwood Village-University Woods Center for Arts & Education 6205 Mineral Point Road, Madison, Wisconsin 53719
The League of Women Voters of Dane County invites the public to attend the upcoming Issues Forum, “A Citizen’s Perspective on Climate Change” on Wednesday, November 2, 2016, at 7 p.m. in Oakwood Village West (University Woods) Center for Arts and Education Auditorium, 6205 Mineral Point Road.
Citizens’ Climate Lobby is a non-profit, non-partisan, grassroots advocacy organization focused on national policies to address climate change. They support a carbon tax and dividend system in which CO2 producers pay a tax, which is distributed equally to all Americans as a monthly dividend. Learn more from our speaker, Dick Smith, a retired administrative law judge and citizen activist.
The forum is free and open to the public. Oakwood has free visitor parking on its campus. For a map, see http://www.oakwoodvillage.net/university-woods/campus-map . For more information about the event visit the League’s website at www.lwvdanecounty.org .
