press release: Original organizers and participants of the 1969 Black Student Strike return to campus after 50 years to recount their lived experiences of the time (February 1969) and parallel those experiences to current struggles black students face on campus. This panel discussion will be moderated by The Black Voice Co-Editor-in-Chief Shiloah Coley and Black History Month Planning Committee Co-Chair Breanna Taylor.
Then join us for for an open reception in the Black Cultural Center featuring a short film curated by the Black History Month Culture and History Sub-Committee, food, and a chance to meet our honored Alumni guests!
