1018 Williamson Open House, A Renovation in Progress

“What’s happening with that old abandoned house on Willy Street?”

Brandon Cook, the owner of 1018 Williamson, is opening the doors to interested neighbors “to show my dream for this house becoming a reality.”

The Open House will reveal the scope of the renovation work that Brandon has undertaken in the past few months. If you recall, the house had “good bones” but needed someone committed to renovating it. It had been gutted over 20 years ago and had been vacant since. Visitors will be able to see plumbing and electrical roughed in, insulation, vapor barriers and drywall, just days before the walls are closed in.

The event is free and open to the public.

Friends of Historic Third Lake Ridge is the Marquette Neighborhood’s history and preservation group.
