Aca-Performance of a Lifetime Contest

press release: Overture Center for the Arts is giving away the chance for two lucky (and talented) Madison-area a cappella groups to perform as the opening act for VOCALOSITY when they come to Madison on January 28 and 29, 2016, to perform in the historic Capitol Theater.

Any interested vocal groups can record a video of themselves singing a one- to two-minute arrangement of any recognizable 20th or 21st Century song and upload the video to YouTube. Contestants may make the link public or unlisted. If public, the video will be shared on the official VOCALOSITY YouTube channel.

The group should then email the link to info@vocalosityontour.com by midnight on December 18. Three finalists will be chosen and their videos will be judged by the creative team of VOCALOSITY. Two groups will be chosen to open for VOCALOSITY -- one each on January 28 and January 29.

Performances will be limited to five minutes and performance song selection must be approved by VOCALOSITY in advance. The winner will be announced on Monday, January 4. The VOCALOSITY performance is part of the Bell Laboratories Music Series.
