Access to Independence 40th Anniversary Celebration

press release: ACCESS to Independence Inc. celebrates 40 years of empowerment and independence of people with disabilities with a free community picnic.
The event will take place on Thursday, June 21, from 3:00pm – 6:30pm, at Tenney Park, located at 300 North Thornton Ave, in Madison. Food will be served from 4pm-6pm, and there will be a brief presentation including comments from community members, and a mayoral proclamation. A memory wall and historical timeline highlighting many accomplishments and moments over the last 40 years will be located inside the park pavilion.
ACCESS to Independence encourages community members with and without disabilities to come and celebrate, share, and reminisce.
