Public & Media Tour: 2:20 p.m. - Site 2; 3:00 p.m. - Site 3; 3:50 p.m. - Site 4; 4:30 p.m. – Conclude and return to registration location
Farmers/Agribusiness tour: 12:45 p.m. Site 1: Al Kalscheur (North Madison St. South of Cuba Valley Rd, Waunakee) Low Disturbance Manure Injection – VTI & Dietrich with tankers; 2:00 p.m. Site 2: Blue Star Dairy (Patton Rd. Between Hwy V and Hahn Rd, Waunakee) Low Disturbance Manure Injection – Dragline (VTI or Airway); 2:50 p.m. - Break/water @ Site 3; 3:00 p.m. Site 3: Endres Berryridge Farms (6955 Hyer Rd., Waunakee) Compost facility tour & Dragline (Bazooka or Airway); 3:50 p.m. Site 4: Endres Berryridge Farms/Darren Ripp (Hyslop Rd. After Kopp Rd. left side, Waunakee) No-till seeding of Barley and Pea mixture (broadcast & drill with vertical tillage). Compost spreading. Soil Scan 360 by Insight FS. Sponsor exhibits. (~1.5 hour stop); 5:15 p.m. – Conclude and return to registration location
*Riding the buses is strongly encouraged for ease and safety. Public and media may ride with farmers and the shorter option is being offered to those with limited time.
