Returning to the homeland for a funeral and a final goodbye to one’s childhood home is captured in photographs that become a source for healing the scars left by immigration.
Agnieszka Ligendza is Associate Professor of Graphic design and Digital Art, and currently serves as Coordinator of the Graphic Design program at Edgewood College. Professor Ligendza holds a BFA from Grand Valley State University and MA and MFA degrees from the University of Iowa. She was born in Poland and came to the United States at a young age.
