press release: The Wyoming Valley School Cultural Arts Center is pleased to announce a new addition to its ongoing display of work by Wisconsin artists. Alice Elizabeth Palmer, 1904- 1991, lived her entire life in Madison. She was an accomplished artist with a special love of the sea and traveled each year to Gloucester, Mass., and St, Augustine, Fla., to create work in watercolor, chalk and pencil. Alice loved the circus and spent many hours documenting her experiences while observing the action on the grounds. Alice was a charter member of the Madison Art Guild and exhibited extensively throughout the city. The pieces in this exhibit will be available for viewing and purchase.
Hours are Saturday, November 14 and Sunday, November 15 from 10am to 4pm at the Wyoming Valley School Cultural Arts Center, 6306 State Hwy 23, 3miles south of Spring Green.
