All-City Swim Meet
media release: Next week, more than 2,000 young swimmers will gather at Hill Farm Swim Club on Madison’s west side for the All-City Swim Meet. From Thursday, July 31 through Saturday, August 2, Rennebohm Park will be transformed into "Tent City," where swimmers from 13 pools across the Madison area, will gather for the three-day event.
Every day, morning session starts at 8:00 am. Start time of the afternoon sessions TBD, they are estimated to start 1 hour after the end of the morning sessions.
The meet draws swimmers from ages 5 to 19, who have been training and competing since early June in the All-City Swim & Dive League. Many of these swimmers participate every summer, making this a true Madison tradition.
The 13 pools in the All-City League represent an array of Madison’s neighborhoods:
Goodman
Hawks Landing
High Point
Hill Farm (host)
Maple Bluff
Middleton
Monona
Nakoma
Parkcrest
Ridgewood
Seminole
Shorewood

Swimming & Service
This meet isn’t just about winning races, it's about giving back. All summer long, the All-City teams have worked to raise money for Second Harvest Foodbank of Southern Wisconsin. Since 2008, the All-City League has helped provide more than 2 million meals for neighbors in need.
New this year is the Second Harvest Award for Positive Sporting Behavior, sponsored by Ian’s Pizza. Each team will honor one swimmer who lives out the values of inclusion, equity, innovation, humility, trust and integrity both in and out of the water. Ian’s will donate a pizza and make a contribution to Second Harvest in each swimmer’s name.
More Than 60 Years of Madison Tradition
The Hill Farm Swim Club is excited to bring the All-City Meet back to where it started. In 1962, Hill Farm hosted the first in-pool All-City Meet, which now rotates through the All-City League pools, giving each team an opportunity to host.
The League has grown over the years from the original five Madison-area teams and a single open-water meet. Today, it introduces more than 2,500 young athletes annually to healthy competition, sportsmanship and community, and is one of the largest outdoor swim meets in the country.
