media release: The Café is a new monthly Madison gathering of anti-war & anti-genocide activists, a time to be together, plan for action, make music & art, eat & drink. This month we’re featuring open mic and small group discussions - with Nurhayati Ali & Hayat Sultan on the Rohingya genocide, Stefania Sani on war tax resistance & with John Peck on previous divestment struggles at UW-Madison: South Africa, Burma, Sudan, etc - leading up to today (including the last major Palestine-related effort 2014-2016).
The Crossing is on campus and easy to reach by bus, bike and walking. There is free parking nearby on weekends in UW lots 34 and 20.
