Pecatonica Pride Watershed Association presents Art on the Pec, a free, self-guided, art tour by boat along a beautiful stretch of the Pecatonica River. The 6.5 mile paddling route begins at Thunder Bridge boat launch on River Rd., five miles south of Blanchardville, WI, and ends at the Argyle boat launch on W. Milwaukee St. Artwork created by ten local artists will be on display from dawn on August 4th until 3pm August 5th. If you’re an art-loving landlubber, you can view some of the artwork from land at Thunder Bridge, Yellowstone Golf Course, and Argyle boat launch. More details can be found at www.
In support of Art on the Pec, Historic Argyle invites the public to a community potluck Saturday, August 4, 5pm at Saxton House, 204 N. State St. in Argyle. Come meet some of the participating artists and enjoy the beautiful grounds of Saxton House.
Pecatonica Pride Watershed Association is a collaboration of community groups, farmers, fishers, landowners, and river lovers pulling together to improve and promote the Pecatonica River and its trout streams between Blanchardville and Argyle, Wisconsin.
