ArtWorking Grand Opening
Madison Public Market 202 N. First St., Madison, Wisconsin 53704
media release: Grand Opening Season continues this Friday as we celebrate ArtWorking.
ArtWorking is a Madison-based nonprofit arts and entrepreneurship program supporting artists and entrepreneurs with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Its work helps artists develop their creative practice while also building the skills and support needed to bring their work into the marketplace.
At Madison Public Market, ArtWorking has created something especially fun to discover: an art vending machine located in the First Street Art Gallery, filled with work and products created by ArtWorking artists. Additionally, ArtWorking has installed the inaugural exhibition at the First Street Art Gallery, featuring a curated collection of original works—all available for purchase.
Come meet the people behind ArtWorking, explore the art and help us celebrate another member of the growing Madison Public Market community.
Friday, September 18, 5:30 PM, Madison Public Market, 202 N First Street.
