press release: Isthmus and Jazz Fest have teamed up to bring Bad Philosopher to the Isthmus office to record an intimate Live Session. The Greater Madison Jazz Consortium invites you to join us on Thursday, May 9, for this FREE event - and you'll be one of the first to hear the Terrace lineup for the Isthmus Jazz Fest!
Isthmus office doors will open at 4:15 p.m. Bad Philosopher will perform at 4:30 p.m. Their office is located at 100 State St. Ste 301, above Ian's Pizza.
Bad Philosopher is an electric jazz trio based out of Madison whose performance consists of original compositions fusing elements of both classical, pop, funk and jazz music with extended improvisations. The unorthodox background and approach of each member makes this trio unique.
Isthmus Live Sessions are an opportunity to see amazing national and local acts perform at an exclusive intimate setting. Ian's Pizza will provide free pizza at the event and Shiner will provide complimentary beer. We hope you can join us! Spaces are limited so reserve your spot soon.
