A community Earth Day celebration

A family-oriented event to celebrate Earth Day. It builds on the success of The New Green Challenge and El Desafio de Vivir Verde and the belief that we come from the land and that communities of color in Dane County are taking action to take care of our environment. Don’t miss this fun and interactive event, There are lots of kids activities like face and henna painting. Learn to make your own environmentally friendly cleaning products. Robert Pierce will be giving gardening tips. Learn healthy cooking from Chef Rod Ladson and Sujhey Beisser. Fitnesss activities like Zumna and yoga will be there. Ballet Folcklorico de Maria Diaz, Kalaanjali Classical Indian Dance Troupe, Willie Wright and others will be performing. And David Montesi and DDJ Pain 1 will be DJing. Plus there will be food carts and so much more.
