The Bantering Beats
Keystone Grill, Cambridge 206 W. Main St., Cambridge, Wisconsin 53523
September's topic: Name your favorite novel and tell why it is important to you.
press release: A different topic each month. All are invited. It is part of a discussion on early memories. The free conversation group will meet, Saturday, Oct 6, at the Keystone Café in downtown Cambridge. “There is no cost, no registration, no membership and no future obligation. Just come and join in,” says writer, John Lehman.
“ It’s where your ideas matter as we practice the art of conversation,” adds co-founder (with Lehman), Tristan McGough. The group might talk about books, poetry, politics, art, or metaphysics.
“ The Bantering Beats” are looking for others―from teenagers to the retired, male or female―who are interested in a wide open discussion. That’s 4pm, the first Saturday of each month, at the Keystone Café in Cambridge. This activity is under the umbrella of The Cambridge Humanities Council. There is absolutely no charge or fee of any kind though you certainly can buy a coffee or beer.
