press release: Join us Thursday, September 6, at Yahara Bay Distillery in Fitchburg from 6 to 9 p.m. for a casual evening of local distilled spirits and cocktails, great food, craft beer and live music to celebrate Wisconsin’s innovation and technology culture.
Hosted by the Wisconsin Technology Council, Barrels, Bites & Bytes is open to people and groups who are a part of the state’s tech and innovation scene. “The Yahara Bay Distillery is a prime example of entrepreneurship and an ideal setting for a relaxed late summer gathering of people connected to the tech sector,” said Tom Still, president of the Tech Council. The admission cost includes beverages provided by Yahara Bay Distillery and a buffet dinner including a variety of Wisconsin brats, burgers and vegetarian options, along with a selection of delicious side dishes and desserts.
Grooving Needles will set the tone with local band members from the area. An unnamed basement band at birth, Grooving Needles now performs regularly at select Madison venues and events where their sound includes classic rock hits from the 50s, 60s and 70s.
The cost is $35 for Tech Council members, $50 for general admission and $10 for veterans and students with I.D. Yahara Bay Distillery is located at 6250 Nesbitt Road, Fitchburg, WI. Everything is included in your admission.
