The Bernie 2016 campaign will be coming to Madison this Saturday, March 26, and Sen. Sanders will speak at a rally at the Alliant Energy Center with doors opening at 1PM and the exact time of Sanders' speech to be announced later.
Buzz Davis, a leader with the Better With Bernie (BWB)Committee of WI, stated BWB helps increase the visibility of Sanders support. "We and other progressive groups have worked hard to help Sanders win Wisconsin Tuesday, April 5. Volunteers have distributed over 2,000 Bernie yard signs across the state, along with over 20,000 Bernie bumper signs and over 6,000 buttons. But we need the candidate here to drive up the enthusiasm for his message of creating a peaceful political revolution in America to fight back against the corruption and vast income inequality!"
David Newby, the President Emeritus of the WI AFL-CIO and a leader in the Labor for Bernie effort in the USA, said, "In my experience, union members are breaking decisively for Bernie. We hope anyone who has any doubts about him comes to hear him directly on Saturday. We think they'll be convinced he has the best vision for America."
More than six major national labor organizations and 64 regional, state and local labor organizations and 20 major progressive citizen organizations across America representing millions of workers and citizens support Sanders for president.
