Beth McDonald is a classically trained tuba player gone awry. She performs on tuba (with and without electronics), mainly in free improv / performance collaborations, but also in solo ambient / durational projects. Beth is based in Chicago, Illinois.
handturner is a collaboration between Franki Hand and Isaac Turner, both of whom are veterans of the Kalamazoo, Michigan, rock community (they currently play together in Wowza in Kalamazoo and the Kalamazoo Drone Society; Franki additionally plays in Petrillo and Isaac is in Out). This project differentiates itself as it focuses more acutely on soundtrack and interstitial music.
Threadmaker is an improv repeat noise repeat punk repeat jazz repeat catharsis repeat collective based in Madison, Wisconsin.
