Better With Bernie HQ Grand Opening

press release: Tuesday, March 8th we’ll have the grand opening of the Better With Bernie Headquarters from 2PM to 5:30PM.

Everyone is invited.  HQ is on corner of 29 E. Wilson St. (1 block east of MLK Blvd., kitty corner from Madison Parking Garage, couple blocks from Square Downtown)

Better With Bernie leader Ellen Jessen of Madison said, “We invite everyone who is a Bernie supporter or wants to learn about Bernie to stop by Tuesday afternoon, talk with Bernie volunteers, pick up your yard sign, buttons and bumper stickers at low low prices and become a Bernie advocate by offering them to your friends.”

Les Gallay another BWB leader and member of the Democratic Socialists of America, explained, "This event starts at 6:30PM for eats, 7PM discussion of Bernie campaign & 8PM debate watch on TV. We will have our sixth debate watch at the Green Lantern Restaurant, 4412 Siggelkow Rd. in McFarland on the lake. We invite all voters to attend and discuss with us the upcoming April 5 presidential primary in Wisconsin. All who attend will get free Bernie supplies and learn how to volunteer." Buzz Davis of BWB stated David Newby of WI and other labor leaders formed Labor for Bernie, one of the groups sponsoring the Debate Watch.  Labor for Bernie is a national organization of union leaders and members organizing in support of Bernie Sanders for the Democratic nomination for President.   They advocate that unions delay their endorsement process until we are further along in the primary process.  "We are pleased that the AFL-CIO has now delayed its process of endorsing a candidate.”
