Bird Migration & Nature Walk

press release: As part of the Explore Nature at Capital Springs series, the Friends of Capital Springs Recreation Area is hosting a spring bird walk on Friday, May 10 at 8:30 am to 11:30 am to look for migratory and resident birds at the best areas that Lake Farm County Park has to offer: woods, lakeshore, prairie, marsh, and pond! The walk will be about two hours long over mostly flat terrain.

We will meet at shelter #2 parking area at Lake Farm County Park, 4330 Libby Rd, Madison.

Led by naturalist Clare Carlson, please bring binoculars, wear good hiking shoes, and bring sun protection. All are welcome to this free, outdoor activity. In the case of inclement weather, please check the Friends Facebook and web page: www.friendsofcapitalsprings.org.
