Guerrette’s self-produced debut album, Here’s Hoping, quickly garnered public attention in November of 2022, generating millions of streams in its first year. Since then, he has supported The Heavy Heavy, The Wood Brothers, Black Joe Lewis & the Honeybears and The Stone Foxes - in addition to headlining his own tour with Zach Person. Simply put, Shane’s drive is insatiable.
Inspired by generations preceding him, Shane Guerrette drew influence from classic soul and roots rock music to craft his own fresh, retro-flavored sound. With just an iPhone and a laptop, he made his dream a reality from the comfort of his own bedroom in upstate New York. Instead of a premature fast-track to fame after receiving the Golden Ticket on the “Covid season” of American Idol, the old-school rocker chose to tell his story in a more authentic way. The confirmation he received from the renowned TV competition encouraged Guerrette to gamble on himself and build his career from the ground up. This experience allowed him to learn who he was as an artist as he shaped his fruitful young career. Turning to social media to promote what would become Here’s Hoping, Shane quickly amassed 87,000 Instagram followers, forming an eager fan base that the old soul did not expect. The culmination of hard work and self-determination ultimately led to his meteoric rise, and it was inevitable that success would find him.
