Black Men's Health Town Hall Forum
press release: In Dane County, Black men account for 6% of the male population (15,600), and during the past year, our community has witnessed our men young and old dying from health issues that can be prevented.
On August 16, Rebalanced-Life Wellness Association is requesting for Black males in our community to come together, break bread and have an honest conversation that seeks real solutions to the social stressors contributing to the early deaths and poor health of Black males.
The Rebalanced-Life Wellness Association (RLWA) has operated as a non-profit organization for more than a decade. Founded by the worlds 1st African American Diabetic Ironman Triathlete, the overarching goals are ensuring that Black men and boys living in under-represented communities, who bear the heaviest burden of disease and poor health status, have the opportunity to live fuller, healthier lives.
