Bringing Meaning to Life: The Six Liberating Actions
Diamond Way Buddhist Center 104 King St., Suite 302, Madison, Wisconsin 53703
press release: "If you think about yourself you have problems. If you think about others you have interesting tasks and challenges." - Lama Ole Nydahl
In Diamond Way Buddhism we understand that the path to finding our own power and wisdom starts with helping others find theirs. More precisely, this path is the Bodhisattva approach to Buddhism, and the six liberating actions (or six paramitas) are the quintessential methods to help others while also bringing long-term benefit into our own mind.
This lecture will be given by Olga Komarova, a Diamond Way Buddhist teacher from Copenhagen, Denmark. She will be in Madison for two days as part of month-long teaching tour through the US and Canada.
There is a suggested donation of $10 for this lecture.
