Cambridge Community Library Grand Opening
Cambridge Community Library 101 Spring Water Alley, Cambridge, Wisconsin 53523
The Grand Opening celebration of the new Cambridge Community Library at 101 Spring Water Alley (behind 200 Spring Street – Village Hall), will be held on August 19, 2015 starting at 4:00 PM. A short opening ceremony and ribbon cutting will begin at 4:30. As the contributing boards and organizations are recognized, they will be directed to a photography station for group photos.
The public is invited to this family friendly event which will include refreshments and entertainment. ABC Events Baloonative and Skin Artist will construct a balloon sculpture and offer face painting, and members of the “Willie Wonka, Jr” cast will perform.
A film loop will run showing the history of the new library construction project and the project scrapbooks will be on display in the library’s local history and genealogy room.
The ten plus year capital campaign project succeeded in raising over $2.2 million dollars to provide a beautiful state of the art facility three times the size of the old library to meet the increasing demand for library services in the greater Cambridge region.
