Candlelight Vigil

press release: A candlelight vigil is being planned for Friday evening, January 20, 2017.

Stories are emerging from around our country describing despicable acts of bigotry, hatred, prejudice and xenophobia. We will walk silently to demonstrate our support for our friends and neighbors who are subject to such degrading treatment. Bring your own flashlights or fake candles.

DATE: FRIDAY, JANUARY 20TH, 2017, 7:00 - 9:00 P.M.

PLACE: MEET AT THE INTERSECTION OF STATE AND LAKE STREET (MADISON, WI). WE WILL WALK TO THE TOP OF STATE STREET. WALK ON THE SIDEWALK TO THE TOP OF STATE STREET. OBSERVE ALL STOP LIGHTS AT CROSSWALKS.Once we are at the top of State street, we'll have a very brief program
