Capitol Christmas Pageant

This time-honored event coordinated by the Madison West Kiwanis should be on everybody’s calendar. It’s been going on for approximately forever (this is the 101st). Choirs sing carols in the echoey rotunda space as visitors can take in the Wisconsin-decorated holiday tree. The main thing to know is, this is when it is, and note: there are two shows.

media release: The Kiwanis Club of Madison West will begin setup for the 101st Annual Christmas Pageant in the Capitol Rotunda on Friday, December 5, 2025 at 1 PM, then rehearse on Saturday, December 6, 2025. The Christmas Pageant performances will be on Sunday, December 7, 2025 at 4:15 p.m. and 5:15 p.m.
