press release: Cash Cash is an electronic dance music group hailing from Roseland, New Jersey.  The trio consists of two brothers, John Paul Makhlouf and Alex Makhlouf as well as Samuel Frisch. The trio create, produce, mix and master all of their own original music. Their song “Take Me Home” is their highest charting song to date, which features vocals from Bebe Rexha. Unlike most other artists in the EDM genre, Cash Cash are not just using samples and remixing other artists songs, they have a more traditional band setup using guitars, bass, drums, keyboards, vocoders, talk boxes and electronics. It was in the early 2010s that the group started to shift more into an electronic style in contrast to their previous “pop” sound. Their album Love Or Lust was described by Under the Gun as “Dance/power pop full of bass rhythms, synthetic claps, techno beats and dance/party/club themes”  Their biggest hit, “Take Me Home” has been classified by the RIAA as a progressive house dance song, further proof that the trio are not one dimensional and incorporate many different musical styles to form their own genre.
