Celebration of Richard Roe
Sequoya Library 4340 Tokay Blvd., Madison, Wisconsin 53711
The best gift you can give a writer is to read the work. So this celebration of the life of Madison-based poet Richard Roe, who died earlier this year, features readings of groups of poems from Roe's recently published collection, Poems of Song, Tango & Jazz (Fireweed Press). Roe, a former legislative analyst, had a great ear for the rhythms of the English language. An open mic will follow.
